Empower Global Change Makers

Help Meet the Challenge! Your support of the International Development Studies program nurtures young people to become global change makers. A challenge grant from UM alumna Dr. Jennifer Isern '89 will increase the impact of your gift. When 25 donors contribute to this project, she will donate an additional $1,000! Give now to increase your impact! 

Your partnership will help IDS in the following ways, and so much more: 

  • Raise the profile of this high-impact program 
  • Recruit more students to engage in activities like participating in programming that prepares them for international internships, joining the Peace Corps, or helping resolve the world's greatest challenges
  • Establish more student and alumni events  
  • Support the Global Justice Alliance, a campus group led by IDS students 
  • Hire a graduate student assistant who will help enhance student involvement 

You can propel student-led actions towards local and global change. Higher student engagement will equip them to help tackle global challenges, contribute to sustainable development locally and transnationally, and work towards tangible positive change in the United States and abroad.
